DAY 314

Sable was rolling a lot today. Udder 1/4 full. Butt is mushy.

DAY 315

Not much new today. Sable was out enjoying the sun.

DAY 316

Sable has lost her mucous plug. Her belly has dropped quite a bit as well. Her udder is still about 1/4 full.

DAY 317

No change today. Sable stayed in except for the photo taking as it has been pouring rain all day.

Was busy today, so no pic. No change today.

We have about 1/2 an udder tonight! Warm and tense, but not ready yet.

Udder receded today. Fluid changed from white to clear?
Rolling and lying down quite a lot even during the day. Today she was not very interested in her hay and spent most of the day standing around.

Not much new today.

DAY 322

Belly dropping? Spent a lot of last night staring at her sides. Still no udder. Tail raised when walking around. Shifting in discomfort. Saw foal kicking tonight.

DAY 323

Weird belly shape today. Doing lots of rolling and belly staring. Flanks are still filled in. Tail is up a lot and vulva is beet red and loose. Croup is mush. Milk has turned back to cloudy white. Still no udder but milk veins are enormous and bag itself is very warm. Was pacing quite a bit in between hiding behind the barn.

DAY 324

Udder puffier today and warm. Milk still cloudy white. Baby doing lots of bouncing today. Sable did lots of pacing in the pen.

DAY 325

Sable wants to be by herself today. Udder is 1/4 full and staying that way, usually it is deflated during the day! VERY opaque white milk. Belly still dropped. No tail resistance. Vulva loose and dark.

DAY 326

Not much change. Sable is eating well but she is uncomfy. The foal is very active tonight and she is side biting. The weight seems to be bothering her as well as she is doing lots of shifting.

Belly is doing the wierd tucked up thing again, but can still see and feel the foal. Udder is slightly puffy today.

Not much new today. Still no udder. Foal is still rolling around.
